Matt and I went to the house today and removed the arbor with his truck. It had no problems as long as we were on the gravel, but as soon as we went around to the lawn to start pulling the front fence, it started to catch fire.

We used Matt's Philomath fire shirt to put out the fire, which burned holes in his shirt.

Well, we finally received our demolition permit. We got the asbestos report back, and it was negitive across the board. I put the house up on Craigslist some time ago to see if someone wanted to come take it apart for the wood, and there was a fellow who was interested. I let him know that he could begin, and he's been hard at it ever since. Hopefully he will get lots of usefull parts out of it.
